World Science Day, Think Like a Scientist

Every year, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, scientific research institutions, professional associations, universities, municipalities, the media, science teachers, schools and others are encouraged to organize their own celebration of World Science Day.

Established by UNESCO in 2001, World Science Day for Peace and Development is celebrated worldwide on 10 November each year. It offers an opportunity to demonstrate to the wider public why science is relevant to their daily lives and to engage them in debate on related issues.

FOSCA (Forum of  Scientist Teenagers) celebrates the World Science Day 2013 at SMAN 106 East Jakarta.  As Eco-UNEP Tunza Regional Ambassador, I was invited to deliver a presentation to many inspirational friends with many achievement in various science exibition, i.e. OPSI (Olimpiade Penelitian Siswa Indonesia), LKIR (Lomba Karya Ilmiah Remaja), ISPO (Indonesia Science Project Olympiad). We also we hosted a science camp in the National Park of Thousand Island (Taman Nasional Kepulauan Seribu) in Jakarta.
Today is the Era of Young Generation Era. Through my presentation, I shared about interlinked topics on "Think Like A scientist; Observing, Communicating, Classifying, Measuring and Inferring".
